To help you find the right onedog, PetPlan analyzed the growth of 60 of the UK's most popular breeds, comparing how big they are as puppies (eight weeks) and how tall they are when fully grown (one year). While English Springer Spaniels took first place with an increased growth rate of 317%,Golden Retriever(267%) and the Weimaraner (257%) came in second and third respectively.

Not all dogs grow at the same rate. On the other hand, the researchers found thatBorder Colliesthey are the dogs with the smallest growth. Meanwhile, mini Cavapoos are the dogs that gain the least weight from puppy stage to adulthood.Staffordshire bull terrierranked as the 3rd dog with the smallest difference between puppy and adult weight.
