Accommodation culture in Taipei

Taiwan has many different types of accommodation. From hotels and guesthouses to guesthouses, there is something for every traveler.

But I noticed that accommodation in Taipei is a bit different from other parts of the world in terms of culture, especially when it comes to staying in hostels in Taipei. And the terms guesthouse and hotel are used interchangeably.

Here are some tips about Taiwan's accommodation culture:

  • The majority ofbudget hostels and hotelsbeing in Taipeinear Taipei Main Station.
  • There are manygreat solo accommodation in Taipei. Most of them are hostels, but there are also many cheap hotels in Taipei.
  • Whether you stay in your own room or in a dorm, it's possibleit costs a little more to stay on a weekend than a weekday.
  • If this is possible, book in advance for weekend staysbecause you want to be sure of the best price. Vacancies are also lower on weekends as many Taiwanese travel to the country, especially during national holidays.
  • Many Taiwanese travel around the country and stay in guesthouses. So maybe you doTaiwanese solo travelers, senior travelers and entire families.
  • In my experience, Taiwanese people are verypolite and shyand they like to keep to themselves. I'm always the one who says, "Hello!” (hello in Mandarin) And sometimes they would smile back. Don't take it personally if they don't say anything or smile.

However, I always trustAgoda, one of the best sites for booking hotels, guesthouses and guesthouses. I have never had any problems with my bookings.

And above all, Agoda has the most competitive prices I've seen anywhere. They have the best price guarantee.
